For students 15 1/2 to 17 1/2 years of age, an online or classroom course has to be completed prior to starting behind-the-wheel training. For adults 18 years or older, an instruction permit or valid driver's license must be in possession. Lessons are divided in three 2 hour segments, 3 lessons total.
